The short version: ClassifyX collects no data. None.
ClassifyX analyzes the photos on your device to find duplicates, similar shots, screenshots and low-quality images, and can compress photos you select. All analysis — including face detection — runs entirely on your device using on-device machine learning.
Nothing. ClassifyX has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no servers. Your photos, and any information derived from them, never leave your device.
The index the app builds (fingerprints of your photos) is stored only in the app's private storage on your device and is deleted when you delete the app.
The one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple processes purchases.
ClassifyX asks for access to your photo library solely to analyze, compress and (at your request) delete photos on your device. Deletions always require your explicit confirmation through the system dialog.
ClassifyX has an optional cloud archive feature. If you choose to connect your Google account, ClassifyX uploads only the photos you select, directly from your device into a "ClassifyX Archive" folder in your own Google Drive. We use Google's drive.file scope, which means the app can only see and manage files it created itself — it can never read your existing Drive content, email or anything else in your Google account.
Your Google sign-in tokens are stored only in your device's secure keychain. ClassifyX has no servers: your Google data is never transmitted to us, stored by us, or shared with anyone. You can revoke ClassifyX's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
ClassifyX's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can also export photos through the standard system share sheet to any app you choose; such transfers happen directly on your device under that app's privacy policy.
ClassifyX does not collect data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
