01. Native iOS/Android or Flutter — what should we choose?
Choose Flutter if you want one codebase for both iOS and Android, faster time-to-market and lower maintenance cost — ideal for MVPs and standard apps. Choose native (Swift/Kotlin) when you need deep OS integrations (HealthKit, ARKit, NFC, BLE), maximum performance or specific UX details. We recommend Flutter for around 80% of new projects.
02. What is Zephyr RTOS and why do you use it for IoT projects?
Zephyr RTOS is an open-source real-time operating system backed by the Linux Foundation, designed for resource-constrained devices. We use it for IoT projects on Nordic nRF52 and nRF9160 because it provides production-ready drivers, Bluetooth and NB-IoT stacks out of the box, modular architecture and solid OTA update support. The result: shorter development time, lower power consumption and firmware that is easy to maintain for years.
03. What does it cost to build an MVP or mobile app in Norway?
A simple MVP typically costs 150,000–400,000 NOK and ships in 6–10 weeks. A full mobile app with backend, authentication and publishing can cost 400,000–1.5M NOK depending on complexity. We always give a transparent estimate after a short scoping call, and can offer fixed-price contracts for well-scoped deliverables or hourly rates for iterative development.
04. WordPress or a custom CMS — which is the right fit?
WordPress fits most corporate sites and online stores (with WooCommerce): fast to set up, easy to update yourself, a huge plugin ecosystem and strong SEO support. A custom CMS or headless solution with Angular/React fits when you have unusual workflow requirements, deep internal-system integrations or extreme performance needs. WordPress is usually the right choice — but we always set up clean architecture that makes future migration straightforward.
05. How do you connect an IoT product to the cloud — BLE, NB-IoT or LTE-M?
It depends on range, battery life and data needs. Bluetooth LE (nRF52) suits personal trackers and medical devices that stay near a phone or hub. NB-IoT (nRF9160) gives nationwide communication with very low power — ideal for industrial sensors and asset tracking. LTE-M offers higher bandwidth for real-time data. We typically connect the device directly to AWS IoT Core for secure MQTT communication, OTA updates and analytics.
